Murderous Intent: Roleplay: Minki & Kyungmin.

jongki-outbreak:

Kyungmin awoke from what felt like the deepest sleep he had ever had. He was both dazed and confused, which was perfectly normal for someone who had been knocked out for a good three days. Rubbing at his aching head he pushed the car door open then stepped out, his eyes…

It had taken a good fourty minutes or so for him to reach Seoul. It would have only taken thirty if he hadn’t stopped for a break, but an extra ten minutes wouldn’t kill anyone. Upon seeing abandoned and bloody cars, empty stores, and dead bodies all around, he finally deduced that something was going on, something horrible. How could he have been unconscious through this whole ordeal?

His eyes narrowed when he saw something, or someone, shuffling in his direction. Finally, an actual living person. His arm lifted immediately as he waved it back and forth, signalling the person over.

"Hey!" he called out, relieved to see he wasn’t the only person in this hell hole. It wasn’t until it had gotten closer that his arm dropped to his side, and his happy face immdiately turned into a shocked and confused one. Here he was looking at some old woman covered in blood, clothes tattered, an extremely foul odor, and she was heading right for him like some starving wild animal. It was a mixture of the drooling, plus the gurgling and growling sounds she emitted that frightened him. The closer she got, further he backed away. What was going on?

His hand dove into his pocket to grab his handgun, the other reaching for the ammunition from his other pocket. He stumbled back slightly, falling over onto his rear. It was hard trying to load a gun, watch the thing trying to eat you, as well as walk backwards at the same time. Loading the gun as quickly as he could he pointed it up at the woman who seemed fearless of the weapon.

"Do—Don’t come closer. I’ll shoot!" he shouted, his voice echoing slightly. It was no use, she wouldn’t listen. Closing his eyes tightly he aimed the gun straight for her head before he turned away, his eyes slamming shut. "I’m sorry…" he mumbled, more to himself than anything, before pulling the trigger. His eyes slipped opened when he heard something fall, then locked onto the dead body before him. The first kill was always the hardest one, and as sick as it was, it got much easier as time progressed.

ooc; Sorry for any typos or anything. I kind of rushed a reply cause I have to go out @__@ If there are any typos, I’ll fix them later <3

parkhyunjae-outbreak replied to your post: OOC: Skip me.

I hope everything gets better, don’t rush tbh. I’m happy you’ve told us but family is more important than roleplay! No matter how tempting the face claims are :P. Good luck

Thank you for understanding! We’re just trying to get everything sorted at the moment @__@

OOC: Skip me.

Some IRL family emergency crap came up, so please skip my post this turn. I will do my next post though, I assure you :)

OOC

I didn’t have time to post today, sorry. I’ll post tomorrow :D <3

Roleplay: Minki & Kyungmin.

Kyungmin awoke from what felt like the deepest sleep he had ever had. He was both dazed and confused, which was perfectly normal for someone who had been knocked out for a good three days. Rubbing at his aching head he pushed the car door open then stepped out, his eyes narrowing from the piercing light of the sun. What the hell was going on?

Turning slightly, he looked around, trying to figure out where he was, and why all of the cars around him were covered in blood and abandoned. Then he remembered it, the accident. Biting down lightly on his bottom lip he pulled himself up onto the roof of his car so that he could get a slightly better look. He couldn’t have caused all of this, as there were tons and tons of cars going all the way down the road… and if he did, where were all of the people, the ambulances, the cops? Perhaps he was still asleep, and this was all just a crazy dream of sorts.

Hopping down from the roof of his car he reached into it, unlocked the glove compartment, then grabbed his handgun and whatever ammunition for it he had before stuffing them into his pockets. Whatever was going on, he needed to make sure he could atleast protect himself.

After waiting a good hour for a car to pass, which none did, he decided to head out. He figured he should just get to Seoul, which was about a half hour walk away, find his family, then they could figure all of this out together.

“Jin…,” Jonghyun stared at his sister, who’s dead asleep on the back seat of his car, or their home. He reached out his index finger to poke her cheek gently and repeatedly. He needed his sister to wake up soon and quickly since their lovelyhome decided to break down on Jonghyun. Well, not break…

Jongki hadn’t seen an actual living person in months, so you could imagine how surprised he was when a car pulled into his area of town. Yes, his area. Most of the people had been run out of Seoul; or turned, so he deemed this part of town his own. It was the part of town his mother normally roamed. Feeling the soft fur of his companion brush up against him he snapped out of his concentration and smiled, his hand extending to ruffle the dogs head playfully…

EunKyung sighed as she rested her head against the side of the wall. She knew it was time to move on to the next spot but she found she didn’t have the energy to as the days dragged by. The female had found refuge in a building that surprisingly seemed untouched by the outbreak…

JinYoung was in the midst of the dead, casually strolling as he shot the heads off each zombie. This was target practice, really. There were quite a few, but he managed to keep his distance enough not to get surrounded by the un-dead. Those God damned idiots couldn’t even see him, crouched behind an abandoned cement truck.

Suddenly he heard shouting. Not again. He rolled his eyes. Were these humans going to get in his way again? He turned his eyes to see three of the living, running down the pathway. His targets following pursuit. He cursed under his breath. They were headed his direction; the abandoned building that sat behind him. Were they serious!? Hiding in a building was the last thing you’d want to do with a large group of zombies. If not properly secured, they would be surrounded. And therefore, lunch.

He noticed one of the un-dead stumble forward, a little quicker than the rest. It’s jaw was unhinged, blood dripping down upon the cement road. It had only one eye, hanging from it’s socket. It dangled across it’s crusted nose as it walked. This zombie was just about to chomp it’s rotting teeth upon a girl.

Bang.

JinYoung shot the bullet straight through it’s dangling eyeball, into it’s skull. The zombie twisted in the air for a moment before it collapsed onto the earth. He stood and shot a few more of the closer zombies.

“You’re in my way,” he called out to the humans, brushing a strand of blond hair out of his eyes, “just get out of here before I shoot you too.”

Hae Kyu walked silently down an abandoned road, his 9mm ready to fire. He was getting paranoid as the area he was in, there were hardly any walkers, but that didn’t mean he was safe. He stopped where he was, hearing the sound of gunshots in the distance, raising a brow. There were survivors! He then picked up his pace, carefully trying to not attract noise to himself as he walked, knowing he needed to get where they were. It was dangerous to be on your own here, and he only wished his family was still alive.

Oh that’s right, he left them for dead. That part chewed at him, he still doesn’t understand why he did what he did. He loved his family; he would do anything for them. Then, all of a sudden he switched around and only saved himself. He then shook his head, walking a bit faster, hearing the gun shots getting closer. He knew he was getting close, but he just hoped he wouldn’t be mistaken for a walker himself.

Hae Kyu finally made it, seeing survivors going inside an abandoned building. While it was a good idea, he knew they couldn’t stay there for long. Though, he felt he needed to help out, especially with all those walkers. He then lifted his gun, taking out any straggling walkers as he swiftly tried to catch up with them. “Keep going in! I’ll cover you!” He shouted, and then noticed a blonde male, who didn’t seem too friendly, or appear he was interested in going inside with the rest. Whatever, it was his funeral.

Following the other survivors into the building, Jonghyun was still taken aback by the thought of there even being survivors, but he was relieved by that fact. He liked the fact that there were others looking for a place to live and survive during this horrid nightmare.

Seeing that the swarms of walkers weren’t faultering, constantly following them as they ran into the shelter; Jonghyun took a chance and unzipped Jin’s backpack, startling his younger sister as she thought it was a distorted creature grabbing onto her.

Jonghyun didn’t blame his sister for being jumpy at this moment, fearful of becoming one of them or possibly getting killed. These thoughts were not only in Jin’s mind, but Jonghyun’s as well, in fact, his nerves are so high that he’s suprised he hasn’t had a irritable break-down, losing control of himself. Luckily, he wasn’t right now, but he understood how his sister felt.

He chuckled under his breath, “it’s fine, it’s only me, Jin.” he said, his hand digging into the bag and he finds what he’s looking for.

His 2 prize possessions - the pack of Marlboro cigarettes and his Desert Eagle. Frantically, he zips up the bag and digs into his pocket to pull out his lighter while taking a cigarette out of the pack, the desert eagle under his arm protectively as he lit the cigarette.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Repeat.

Feeling the burn of nicotine running through his system, his anxiety was lowering and started to feel relaxed. He scrunched his lips together, holding the cigarette between them as he turned around and started shooting the walkers, immediate headshots and quick at that fact.

Taking the cigarette from between his lips, he holds it between his index fingers and turns his head towards Jin. “Go hide, and don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine, like always, ok? Just run!” he barked at his sister before turning his attention to the walkers, joining the younger males in the fight to destroy the distorted beings.

Jin bit her lip at her brothers request, but quickly obliged, nodding her head and making a run for it inside of the building. She feels so lost without Jonghyun by her side.

Who was going to protect her if a zombie was hidden in the vacant building? She couldn’t protect herself. She had no weapons; only her backpack, a small first-aid kit attached to her belt, and her sketch pad. That’s it.

She’s completely vulnerable and she couldn’t trust any of the other survivors. She just…couldn’t. She only trusted Jonghyun, her loving brother, and that’s it.

Jongki was pretty confused when that door suddenly shot open, and there was a girl inviting them in as if they were coming over for dinner or something. It wasn’t everyday that some random stranger stuck their neck out for you. Turning to Kevin, not even caring if Jin or Jonghyun followed along, he ushered the dog inside. At this point in his life, all he cared about was his own survival, his dog’s survival, and keeping any harm from coming to his now monster mother, which sounded easier than it actually was.

Upon hearing the gunshot behind him he spun around, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Jinyoung. Was this boy a fucking idiot? The sound was just going to bring them here faster, now that they knew exactly where they were thanks to this moron. "Get inside!" he shouted, then turned to eye Eunkyung. “You look after my dog, ya hear? And barricade the doors and windows,” he paused briefly, trying to catch his breath. “We’ll lure them away, then come back. You’ll know it is us  because we’ll knock lightly, as to not call any attention to ourselves, three times.”

The ‘we’ll' he referred to would be himself, and Jinyoung. If the boy was going to be stupid, then he might as well help out. After they were in the clear Jongki could just lead them back, take Kevin, then rid himself of these people. They were only bound to get in his way; or get themselves killed. Why should he drag himself down for their sake?

Once another person approached he felt his anger just bubbling. How many people were fucking here, anyhow? It had been human free for what seemed like months, and now all of these people are suddenly coming out of nowhere. He didn’t like it, not one bit.

Shrugging off his thoughts and anger, he quickly focused. The last thing he wanted was to get infected, let alone eaten alive. With this many zombie’s on your tail there would be nothing left when they were done with you, and he had a job to do. He had to keep Kevin, and his mother, safe.

Raising his hand he lightly slapped Jinyoung on the back of his head. This was mostly to get his attention, but also to get a little bit of anger out before he went insane. "We’ll lead them that way," he pointed straight down the street. “Then to the center of town. From there, I know how to sneak away so that we can ditch them, but also get back here in one piece.

Reaching into his bag he pulled out two revolver’s, a shotgun, then stuffed as much ammunition into his pocket as he could. You never know how much you need, and it’s best to take more than not enough. Tossing his bag inside he slammed the door shut behind them, refusing to let any of them help, and leaving only Jinyoung and himself outside. “Come on!" he slapped the boys arm before booking it down the street. If Jinyoung didn’t do anything else that was stupid, they might just survive.

Sorry I haven’t replied yet, I was busy most of the day. I’ll start working on my reply now~

"We’re okay boy, they aren’t a threat to us," he said, reassuring himself more than the dog. It seemed as if they were passers anyway, so they wouldn’t be staying long, hopefully. If that wasn’t the case then he would just have to run them out like all of the others. It should be a piece of cake. After watching them for hours he seemed to lose track of the time. Slowly lifting himself to his feet he secured all of the doors and windows, then went to sleep.

The sound of a car door slamming shut abruptly awoke him from his deep slumber. Rubbing his tired eyes he pushed himself to his feet then pulled down the blankets he had covering the windows just in time to see them leaving. “Shit,” he mumbled under his breath. “C’mon Kevin!”  he shouted, the dog immediately following him as he packed up his weapons, unsealed the door, then treaded softly behind them. It wasn’t until he noticed the huge herd of carcasses shuffling towards them that he decided to get their attention.

"Hey!" he shouted. "Don’t go that way, you’ll get swarmed!" he rushed up besides them, trying to think as he panted heavilly. Which way was the easiest and safest out of there. Upon drawing a blank he pointed left, down a vacant alley. This was his town, he should know it’s safest areas, even if he wasn’t thinking clearly. "Come now, this way," he proceeded to lead them, if they chose to follow. If not, then it was their death sentence.

Jongki wasn’t helping them. No sir, that wasn’t the kind of person he was. It was more like he was giving them a gentle nudge in the right direction. That direction being out of his town.

I think that perhaps they should bump into each other while either looking for shelter or trying to escape from a horde of walkers

Since two people seem to be going for the shelter idea, or something along those lines, I think we should do that. As for a posting order, I’ve done it in random number generator form so that it is fair. Here is the order for when we start;

1. Jonghyun

2. Jongki

3. Eunkyung

4. Jinyoung

5. Haekyu
